The price consists of three items

When comparing storage, most people only look at the day rate per pallet. That is the largest item, but not the only one. Always add up these three, only then are you truly comparing like with like.

What does pallet storage cost per pallet per day?

At FlexXpallet pallet storage in Enschede starts from € 0.20 per pallet per day. The exact rate depends on your volume, storage duration and how often pallets move in and out. In the Twente region the market price for full-pallet storage roughly ranges from € 0.20 to € 0.45 per pallet per day.

What do inbound and outbound cost, and what is included?

Inbound starts at € 3.00 per pallet. For that we check the stacked goods and the seal wrap, register the pallet in our system and you receive a digital confirmation. Outbound is also charged per pallet. Both are listed separately in your quote, so you can compare the full cost and there are no surprises afterwards.

Where is the warehouse and how big is it?

We operate from a 22,000 square metre complex with 22 loading docks at Staalsteden 25 in Enschede, the Netherlands, right by the A35 and the German border. How many pallet positions you need is something we decide together, from dozens to hundreds.

Can I start with a small number of pallets?

Yes. You do not rent fixed floor space but pallet positions, so you can start small and scale up as your inventory grows. You only pay for the positions you actually occupy.

Can you unload my container and what does that cost?

Yes, we unload 20ft and 40ft containers and palletise the goods, which then go straight into storage and into the inventory system. Container unloading is quoted on request, because the price depends on the weight, the number of packages, the number of different articles and the desired pallet type and stacking height. Share those four things and you will receive a quote.

How do I see what is in storage?

Every pallet is registered at inbound and outbound, so you have up-to-date visibility of your inventory and pallet movements. You never have to call to find out what is where.

How tall can my pallets be?

We apply no extra height restriction. A block pallet can be up to 220 centimetres and a maximum of 1,200 kilos, a Euro pallet up to 200 centimetres and a maximum of 1,000 kilos, the standard sizes that also fit on a truck, and everything as far as it can be stacked safely. When comparing, watch out: some storage providers stop at 160 or 180 centimetres. If that forces you to restack or rent extra positions, a lower day rate still ends up more expensive.

Which goods do you not store?

FlexXpallet does dry full-pallet storage for businesses. No cooled or frozen storage, no ADR dangerous goods, no private storage and no e-commerce order picking. That keeps us sharp at what we do best.
